As per your query, the house is your father's self acquired property. Hence he can do as he likes and no one can object it. your father may give the property as gift to you or any one.

no, they cannot object to said transfer.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 21 July 2017
Your father can sell / gift / mortgage / bequeath a will for his property, no family member can object legally.

Your father can dispose his self acquired property in his life time by a valid/registered deed in anyone’s favor, including you.
NO one has any forced share in it.
