What is the nature of your case?

Whether it is an Civil Revision Petition or Appeal from the Lower Court?

Give the complete details of the case then only we will be able to suggest otherwise its difficult.

Mostly your case might be remanded to the same court where you filed your case or its counter part.

Go through the order of the High Court wherein some observation or direction would be there regarding the transfer or remand of your case to the lower court.

If you are unable to trace the case number, on the day of adjournment(first day) try to trace with the name of the parties to the case.

Thank you very much for replying. My case has been shifted from HC Delhi to District court as per SC orders of distributing cases to lower courts for cases upto 2 crores valu. New case numbers have been assigned to our cases and the websites have not been updated as yet. So it is difficult for the litigants to trace .their new case numbers.

You go to the concerned section of the HC Delhi which transferred your case to lower court so that you will get an authenticated information or you can approach your HC advocate who dealt your case in HC.

For your info, New case number would be given along with the old case number for the reference purpose. But you have inquire with the old case number only.
