Dear Sir,
I want to know that if I have received summons for my first date, will I be served summons for every hearing.i m staying in delhi and my wife has filed divorce case from ludhiana

If you do not comply with the summons, the court will issue a warrant (in all probability, non-bailable.)
ajay sethi (Expert) 27 July 2014
you have to attend court on receipt of summons . if you fail to attend for 3 consecutive dates court may proceed exparte against you
ADV-JEEVAN PATIL, MUMBAI (Expert) 27 July 2014
No as the next date is declared on first date.
Ask ur lawyer to attend on ur behalf unless court directed to attend personally. Abut keep track of. Progress.
Sri Vijayan.A (Expert) 27 July 2014
I agree with Jeevan Patil.
Each and every time summon will not be served.
Next date would be announced/ intimated on the Court.

You have to follow the proceedings through your Advocate.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 29 July 2014
If you have received the summons, in the criminal case, if you fail to appear before the court, a warrant will be issued against you, on civil case exparte order will be passed against you. Please note that you will not be served summons after that.
Sri Vijayan.A (Expert) 29 July 2014
Appoint a Advocate at Ludhiana, if the case proceeds at Ludhiana.
V R SHROFF (Expert) 29 July 2014
Warrant cannot be issued.

As Civil matter, it will be heard EX PARTE..
