section under which document to be produced

Sir the case u/s 138 of N I Act being filed by me is at the stage of defence evidence and I want to produce my bank statement from which I transferred money to accused.I want to know that under which section may I apply to court and at what stage for the same to be produced ?

It appears your evidence is closed. if that is so then you have to file petition for recalling your evidence and submit the questions which are likely to be asked.

Hello,
Never mind provision/section.Proceedings u/s 138 NIA are quasi civil in nature and statement of account is issued under the Bankers' Books Act & carries a certificate of authenticity,therefore removing doubts of being forged.So file application along with this statement of account.Under S.92 Cr.P.C. also court cant receive this kind of documentary evidence.Court can also receive this kind of application under S.540 Cr.P.C.(S.311).Go ahead.No worry,eh.
