Sale deed validity

Dear sir we given total amount to owner for 2 plots but plots are not DC converted . in bond paper owner mentioned that I received total amount ,after land convention I give 2 plots. but bond paper written 5 years back. Still lans is not converted.Some saying that bond paper valied only 3 years and some saying that if u paid total amount and not mention any time limit so it valued lifetime no time limit. Which is true sir. Pls help me .

Deed without registration is not valid in terms of transfer of property.Contact with a local lawyer along with documents.

Apparently you are carrying sale deed on stamp paper and final amount is already paid.......................and there is date of registration inserted in it.

Consult a local lawyer and show all the documents.

It is 100 rupees bond paper not sale deed sir. So it is affidavit. So it is valid 3 years or more pls help me

The instrument is neither sale agreement or or Voucher for the receipt of money.Though it is obtained in bond paper five years ago, it has to be renewed so as to have the force of law. Neverthless, Consult lawyer.
