Dear sir/ mam I m planning to buy an ancestral property. The owner died and he has 6 son and 4 daughter. All daughters given there NOC and new patta now made on his son's name. Now is there any role of grand son while buying this property.
Advocate Bhartesh goyal (Expert) 10 September 2016
No,grand sons have no right or shares in questioned property so they can not legally encumber in your buying the property.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 10 September 2016
NOC may not necessarily be equivalent to valid relinquishment deed.

Atleast make them agree to sign on sale deed as consenting witnesses.

Best is that you may show all mutation record and link docs to a very able counsel specializing in revenue/civil/property matters and let your counsel render legal opinion and draft your agreement to sell, sale deed.

Why repetition?
Kumar Doab (Expert) 10 September 2016
Engage a very able counsel as already advised for legal opinion and advise on all issues that you have.

Make all of them witness all adult members , these people stand up to trouble buyers after some time , after all it involves money.
