Sir, my wife has filed application U/s 125 both in distt court haryana and delhi. Due to this I engaged two different lawyers at delhi and haryana and paying fees to both. I am not such a financially well to engage two lawyers. Is there any solution so that maintenance case remains only at one place either at delhi or haryana.

Two cases u/s 125 crpc can not lie. Ask the court where the second 125 case has been filed to drop the case.

Correction sir, she has filed 125 crpc at haryana and sec 24 hma in delhi. Can one lady file both sec 24 and sec 125. Will I have to pay maintenance in both case. What is the difference in both sec 24 and sec 125.

Two cases can not be filed, inform the court accordingly.

No, the order of maintenance passed in each cases gets adjusted with each other.

Sir, it means that she will get maintenance in 125 as well as in 24.

She can file maintenance application under both the laws, civil as well as criminal law, both are maintainable and can be granted. If at all the grant of one case is being informed in the other court court where similar maintenance case is going on, the quantum may be reduced proportionately.
