Legal Due diligence, is a process where the company engages an expert to verify the legal compliance of a company. This done usually where a company is investing in another compnay, it wants to know the correct position of the companies affairs, it will engage anothe third party agency to conduct a due diligence on the company and decide whther to invest or not.. That is why due diligence. May be some companies want their affairs to be perfect, in such case the company itself may go a due diligence test.
