i need your advice...

(Querist) 26 June 2015 This query is : Resolved 
a news paper projected me as drunken. From where did it gathered the fact? The news was published without making any contacts to me,without knowing my views.
I'm a hearing handicap with a disability percentage of 58. Because of this reason my voice was high,this doesn't means I was drunk.could i tack any action against newspaper.

You can file a Criminal Case for defamation in Judicial Magistrate Court against the newspaper authority. You can also file a Civil Suit claiming damages to defame you.

Can U elaborate why the paper had to project UR name in a defamatory manner.Without smoke there will not be fire,as print media cannot act on their own without valid evidences.Come out with the correct facts.
