misuse of my credit card

dear sir/madam,
actually I made a purchase for my brother in law and converted the same amount into emi which was planned to pay by himself each and every month and as per committment he was doing the same but in the end of jan 2010, one dispute had been occured between my in laws and me and now he stopped to pay the emi while till the end of march he was paying the amount from his own account. so can i lodge a complain against him coz from this purchase he bought a bike for himself which is in the name of him. can i get my money back ? note my wife is at his father's home and they are not sending her back, even my wife doesnot want to come back, moreover she is pregnent.

The payments for the purchases made from your credit card with your consent are your liability. For the bank you have done all the purchases and as the credit card was in your name you will be liable to pay the same..

KINDLY NOTE THAT CREDIT CARD IS YOURS AND BANK WILL ALWAYS RECOVER THE AMOUNT FROM YOU.HENCE YOU HAVE TO REPAY THE LOAN.
YOU MAY FILE A CIVIL SUIT IN THE CIVIL COURT FOR RECOVERY OF SAID AMOUNT FROM THE PERSON .
BUT KINDLY NOTE THAT YOUR WIFE IS NOT COMING BACK MAY BE DUE TO MEDICAL HELP DURING PREGNANCY.SO DO NOT MAKE MATTER MORE COMPLICATED FOR YOU AND HANDLE THE MATTER WITH CARE AND WITH THE HELP OF EXPERTS. YOU MAY KEEP COOL AND WAIT TILL YOUR WIFE COMES BACK THEN YOU CAN RECOVER THE AMOUNT.
IN CASE YOU MAKE UNDUE HASTE YOU MAY COME IN TO TROUBLE AS WIFE MAY FILE A CASE AGAINST YOU FOR HARASSMENT FOR MONEY.UNDER PROVISIONS OF SEC.498 A. OF I.P.C.

HENCE BE CAREFUL AND ARRAGE TO SEND ALL DETAILS WILL HELP YOU.

You have done a favour but it had gone against you.First you go to your In-Laws house and bring your wife back.Your presents is very necessary for her at this stage.Mothers mental and physical health affect the child very much.As a husband and as a father you are bound to give care and affection to her at this stage.Don't mingle yours(both of you ) life with other matters.
You tell your brother in-law to make the payment.If he fails to do so you can look legal ways.
