Security cheque query

Company is asking for a Security cheque before joining which is equivalent to 1 months salary.
I have a doubt of mischief but also willing to join in lack of opportunities
I need to know the rights under labour and services law , so that I may protect myself from any fraud.
What should be taken care of before submission of same..?
Please suggest wordings If any letter to be submitted along with.

It depends upon the perfomance, goodwill and the standing of the firm. If you make any demand for receipt, agreement, you will be deprived of eh chance.Always mention your identity before raising query in LCI

1. Mention "security" on the top of the cheque.
2. An anonymous author may not expect valuable obligation of experts as per rule of this platform.
