How many members are required in society committee

Dear Sir,

We have got possession of flats 2 years ago. But still builder did not provide OC & water supply of Grampanchayat. In this case, how we can form society & demand to resolve our issues by Builder.And please let me know how many members are required for society committee.
Pl advice.

Without OC, you can not form a society. Send a legal notice to the builder. Even possession without completion is illegal.

Go through the agreement to purchase, in case of any default file consumer complaint.

1. Cooperative Housing Society in Maharashtra, can be formed with minimum 10 Flat-Owners.

2. There is absolutely no legal necessity for an OC or CC to form a Society. (more than 25% of buildings in Mumbai do not have any OC, but yet are lawfully registered as a Society)

3. For legal issues and service shortfall /deficiency by the builders, Owner-members can collectively file Criminal and/or Civil and/or Consumer Court complaints.
