About pay protection rules

Sir I have given technical resignation on 27/12/2016 from forest deptt.punjab and join education deptt. Punjab on 28/12/2016. I join forest deptt on 29/01/2013 as a regular employee (forest guard).my pay scale is 10300+3200gp.my last pay in forest deptt.is 38490. including incentives.now my pay protected in this deptt.Here pay scale is 10300+4200.in Punjab all new employees get basic pay for 3 yearsi.e 10300.My question is am I eligible for annual increment which is due in January.and am l eligible for 5% interim relief.

Pay protection will be given after your joining in Edn. Dept. But the increment will be given only after completion of one year service in new dept. (Edn.Dept.). the interim relief are as per rules as per govt. rules. the service rules are some different from one state to state.

Well advised by expert Mr. Kavk Satryanarayana, you will be eligible for annual increment after one year physical service with Education department.
