Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 04 January 2010 This query is : Resolved
I am 28 yrs old son. My mother got property from her sister (i think as a gift with love) after my sister's marriage.
1. Could you please tell that does my sister have any right on that property?
2. what if i get 'will' from my mother on my name?
3.Sister still have right on father's proerpty even she has separated from us by marriage?

1. None has any right right over that property except your mother.

2. It is the sweet desire of your mother in whose name she makes any will or can independently dispose off that property as per her own shims and wishes.

3. She has definitely got share in the properties left by your father without making any will of the properties self acquired by him. Your sister is definitely entitled to equal share with you even if your father has made any will of his ancestral properties and in this case the said will can be got set aside.
