NH-8 DELHI GURGAON EXPRESSWAY

Respected Seniors,

I seek your advice to know that wheather NH-8 DELHI GURGAON EXPRESSWAY which is managed and controlled by a pvt company named as DSC limted comes under the defination of service provider under the consumer protection act. NHAI has given exclusive rights to DSC to control and manage the toll plaza , although they share some share of revenue.

can a PIl files against DSC limted along with NHAI as a party?

Yes. Such company which performs its duties on behalf of State definitely comes under consumer protection act and PIL can also be filed being a State subsidiary.
