Yes, They can buy. They have to get a Gnelogical Tree showing the succession of the farmer from the village panchyath or the like and buy the land.

Does the children of X have any proof like birth certificates, school records to show that x is their father? Can you fuller details?. If they have any proof they can file a petiton with the village panchayat officils or they can file a suit for partition or they can file petition seeking sucession certificate. How are the terms between the children and thier mother? Try to give fuller details so that i may be of any help thank you.

X shoukld prove that he is heir of a farmer and agriculturist. There are laws like land reorms laws which prohibit non agriculturists buying land. Is your question connected like that.

Thanks for your views....

in reference to the above views... would like to explain the situation in more details

(1) X with his three brothers jointly owned agriculture land in Gujrat

(2) X and his 3 brothers died over a period of time

(3) Upon the death of these brothers their wives names were entered in the revenue record as the owners of the land

(4) Over a period of time X's wife and respective brothers' children's (only sons) names were entered in the record.

(5) Once X's daughters names were entered but somehow their names were removed and and X's wife name was retained, being the legal heir of X

(6) The family has good relations with each other

(7) the query is can X's daughter's name be reentered in the revenue record? AND is it necessary that along with this i.e. entering the names of X's duahgters name in the revenue record, other brothers daughters names are required to be compulsorily to be entered?

(8) and lastly, can X's daughter buy agriculture land without having the name in the revenue record?

Request the expert's views on the same
