Well advised by all experts. Have a dialogue with the mother-in-law. She will recognize the right of the widow. Otherwise, you can resort to legal remedy.

Yes!
The share of deceased husband in ancestral as well as that of his father's earned properties, in given case, shall devolve equally upon widow and mother of deceased husband .
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 20 July 2013
Well advised, nothing more to add.

i thank all , but what if his mother is not willing to give the share to his wife?
Because her MIL never took care of her daughter in law so their relationship is not good.
Dr. Jyothi Vishwanath (Expert) 20 July 2013
Wife has to approach the court.
Guest (Querist) 20 July 2013
even if not share in property can she just claim for compensation?
Dr. Jyothi Vishwanath (Expert) 20 July 2013
No compensation she can claim. No such right. She has share. She can only claim that.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 20 July 2013
A SUIT OF PARTITION OF 1/2 SHARE IN PROPERTIES LEFT BY HUSBAND IS THE ONLY REMEDY.
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 21 July 2013
where is the question of doubt
