Agricultural land

as per law, who can buy agri land in maharashtra ?if i have agri land (7/12) in my name but am not doing anr farming in the said land, am i still a farmer and can i buy other agri land on that 7/12 ?

if you are an agriculturist then only can you buy agricultural land in maharashtra .you can purchase land in your name since you already have agricultural land in your name

It three successive year one does not cultivate the agricultural land by his own or by his agent and keep the land uncultivated ie. GAVAT PAD or PADIT land the tahashildar has a right to enter the name SARKAR on 7/12.

Yes! You can seek conversion of land on the ground it has gone uncultivable or unfertitle .

To convert to NA status ,it should comply all conditions of TP act, viz.the land should be in residential zone in regional plan,,possess approach road, with in the vicinity of 200mts of authorized development etc.

You can definitely purchase as you have already attained the status of an agriculturist.

If are a bonafied agricultural laborer you can get certificate as land laborer certificate after panchanma and inquiry by circle officer,it is treated as an agriculturist status for purchase of agricultural land.
