Hi,
If the Land sales agreement is on my brothers name, can the property be registered on my name ? or only the person who is in sales agreement should get registered ? there are no loans associated to this property, we are going to pay by cash/check.

Get the sale agreement formally cancelled first and then, execute the sale deed in your name.

it cannot be regd in your name as property has been purchased in your brother name .

If your brother is agree then it can definitely be done but for safer side, make your brother as one of the attesting witnesses to the sale-deed.

If the agreement to sale contain a clause that owner shall sale to him or to his nominee then and also in manner suggested by Mr.Makkad by making your brother as one of the attesting witnesses to the sale-deed,it would be possible.
