Sir,
Please clarify on the following points:-
1.A partition of property located in Delhi is pending for adjudication amongst four legal heirs is pending in Delhi HC. Now, the defendants are approaching for amicable settlement of the same.
1. Kindly let me know the procedure of partition through decree passed by the Hon'ble Court.
2. Since at present the issues in the High Court needs to be framed, and the Defendants have verbally approached the plaintiff for amicable settlement via one -fourth share, the legal proceedings which the plaintiff and defendants should opt at this point in the High Court so that the Defendants are binded by the verbal agreemnet.
3. The mode of partiton by the High Court, if the plaintiff has opted for partion through Court.

first of all, it should be known, howmany plaintiffs and defendant are in the case?
any other legal heir of the property is alive or not?

You all contesting parties can reach to a mutually agreed settlement and then can make it in writing as per advice and format provided by your lawyers and then it can be produced before Hon'ble High Court in Lok Adalat and the matter shall be decided accodingly.

File consent terms and obtain a consent decree. Thereafter a proper partition deed should be executed and registered.

Yes, file a detailed mutual compromise petition on which basis the high court can pass final order.

U can file compromise petition showing ur respective shares and also mention that the possession is also given to the sharers as per compromise get the final decree engrossed on the non-judicial stamp paper.
