Abusive mail ?

(Querist) 02 May 2012 This query is : Resolved
I am a senior citizen and due continuous pressure and threatning sms I sent an e mail to a party in Surat using filthy language / abusive words such as Randi, Kothewali etc.. I know I should not have done it but it is done. While I have reasons for doing so at spur of moment pl. advice what should I do if a criminal case is file against me. I am in Navi Mumbai and the party is in Surat and mail was sent from Mumbai. Can the case be filed in Surat or it has to be filed in Mumbai? Do I have to seek anticipatory bail and if so Will I get it.

Case can also be filed at surat as your sms was read there.

It is better to feel sorry for your otherwise derogatory and defamatory words. Instead of going to criminal court and face a long long long harassment, it shall be easier to meet the party in person and patch up the matter.

90% of the crime is commited at the spur of the moment or fit of anger.Out of that 80% repent that they should not have acted in that way.But repenting later will not be any use in the eyes of law.

Now answer the above query,I go as per the directions of Makkadji.

You should proceed as advised by Mr.Makkad to avoid big 'problems' and also on humanity ground.
