Place of receipt of an income in case of electronic transfer.

In case of electronic transfer (NEFT) to a party situated at a place out side india from india, what is the place of "Receipt"??
Has the income been received in India or Out side India ??

Electronic transfer merely denotes remittance, not receipt. Receipt happens when the funds appear in the account of the payee and that too at the place where the account stands. So, both the experts are correct in their observation.

As per my best information, NEFT option is available in only inside INDIA. if i am wrong, anyone correct me. Thanks in advance.
