Rights against the sold property

(Querist) 23 April 2012 This query is : Resolved
we sold an inherited property of my father in 2007 for which me(only daughter) and my father signed the registration in which my mother did not sign or no share of money was given. at the time of registration my son was 1 1/2 years old.In the document my salutation(mrs)was not mentioned nor my husband signed.that property was sold on demand to the neighbor farm man who was a politician that time.He did not settle the full amount but he has a pucca document.my father was a drunkard.do we have any possibility of appealing further against the registration.

if purchaser did not pay full amount you ought to have issued legal notice to pay balance amount . contacted a lawyer and taken appropriate legal proceedings .

if it was self acquired property of your father then he had full power to dispose of the same . your husband or son did not have any interest in said property . if it was in sole name of your father your mother could not object to the same

Why did you sign the documents?
