Grandfather land

HI sir,

Recently when shuffling my home, I found my grandfather(mothers father) registered documents of settlement land of 1938 ... My mom is the only heir and can we get back these lands now .. when we try to check with the revenue officials the said survey numbers are in government land and in sub-register office it not sold to anyone ...

what are all the options we have in obtaining it legally ..

Any small help in this regard is really helpful

you collect the all the proof and file a petition to the court for declaration of ancestral property to you. and before confirm that any one occupying possession.

Sheik! It is not so easy as you instantly opined.

You should first of all obtain all revenue record of the property mentioned in the settlement deed and should got these translated in English and then should engage the service of perfect local lawyer dealing in the revenue cases and should follow him.

You should also consult this issue with some senior lawyer though he may be far away from your place and should obtain his guidance qua line of action.

As per my experience, I can confirm that if you sincerely try, success is waiting for you. You have to incur time, energy and resources.

Hi Raj kumar sir,

Really thanks, as you said, I followed up with the revenue officials... they told me that after so many years nobody claims responsible for the land ... they had bifurcated and given the lands to the poor people ...

Now what are all the options I have.. Which court I should move now .. is it proper to move against government or fight legally with the individuals ...

pls suggest ...
