How to find out an present forest area declared under which category or notification by state

Can you please guide me how to find out , an forest area, under some forest range in a particular district, which was declared as forest, under which category of Reserve forest or village forest or protected forest -by a government notification of either state or central government?

You should contact Forest Department, the office of which are located in every sub-divisional level and maps also remain there specifying the area falling under definition of forest etc. and you can get entire information therefrom as desired.
