dear, i am a tenant of trust in july 2011 it is law that i have to pay stampduty n also registration or i can pay only stampduty not registration

In absence of any agreement, you have to bear both stamp duty & registration or in case of any mutual understanding & agreement you can pay proportionate amount of stamp duty as agreed.

Tenancy agreement is not a compulsorily registrable document and hence an agreement on fifty rupees stamp paper will do.

Transfer of property act
107, Lease how made.-A lease of immovable property from year to year, or for any term exceeding one year, or reserving a yearly rent, can be made only by a registered instrument.
All other leases of immovable property may be made either by a registered instrument or by oral agreement accompanied by delivery of possession.
Where a lease of immovable property is made by a registered instrument, such instrument or, where there are more instruments than one, each such instrument shall be executed by both the lessor and the lessee:

Subject to an agreement to contrary,the stamp duty is payable by you ,sso also the registration fees.The agreements required registration,if the period of lease is for more than a year.
