No respondents in Prosecution case. Accused can be called as witness in criminal case.

what is nature of your case? civil or criminal? NOBODY CAN ASK TO GIVE EVIDENCE AGAINST HIMSELF, so accused can not be called as witness in criminal case.

My case is against the state. Now complainant is calling the concern officer as witness whom he made as respondent in his case.
so in this case is it possible???
