Voluntary Statements during the evidence ...

During the evidence can the witness give a
Voluntary Statements too or is he just confined to the ques. asked to him by the lawyer as Yes or No ...

Can the lawyer object that the witness is stating voluntarily something which is not related to my direct question ...

Can the lawyer object that the witness is answering more voluntarily then what i have questioned him ...

Is there any value of voluntary statements given by the witness during his cross examination or not ...

What sections of CRPC or other Acts are related to voluntary statements of the witness ...

The witness has to answer the advocate first, he can add any thing with the permission of the court.

Yes he an add but only relevant portion to the dispute is recorded.

Does he need to take permission in every question. or once or its his right to add voluntarily if some thing is pertaing to the question.

Generally witness starts to state whole story which have no relevancy in law or in matter. Some times witness starts to state their personal issues also in witness box.

suppose its matter to the case but not the same ques.asked by the lawyer or relates to some previous ques.

Usually when voluntary statement is given by the witness,court insists to first answer the question and then if court finds voluntary statement relevant he would write that the witness states voluntarily...
