if a person was adopted at age 4 and was registered at the age of 25years is the adoption valid or not

Yes-it is valid-The Adoption Deed is also Registered after 19 years - The Delay in Registration of Deed is not a matter to be considered !

It is not the registration but the actual adoption which matters. The child was adopted at his age of 4 then it hardly matters whether a formal deed was prepared or registered during his life time or not or when it was registered. Adoption do no depend upon its registration so once the formalities of adoption completed, it is legal.

If adotion is otherwise valid, it is immaterial as to when the deed of adoption is registered. For a valid adoption even execution of a deed of adoption is not required. A deed may be executed and got registered subsequent to adoption as memorandum of previous transaction.
