You have to apply to your School Authorities to obtain the duplicate copy of your School Certificates. FIR lodged with the police will be of no use as far as obtaining passport is concerned.

In some cases, based on School Transfer Certificate, local Revenue authorities issue a birth certificate. However, school authorities can take up with the Board concerned for issuance of duplicate certificates.
