Akrama Sakrama

Dear Sir,

I wanted to buy a Revenue open site which is not converted from Agricultural land to Non agricultural land.

If I buy that open site and get it registered ,will it be applicable for the Akrama Sakrama so that I can pay charges to get it regularize for it.

An early reply in this regards is highly appreciated

When it is not converted in to non agrl., land then it is agrl., land. It does not amounts to akram sakram. If you are not a agriculturist then you will have to take the permission from the concerned Asst., Commissioner to purchased the agrl., land.

To the best of my knowledge, your proposal does not fall under Akrama-Sakrama scheme, unless one of the following ingredients are present in the land you propose to purchase.
Constructed houses on the land whose usage has not been converted, Layouts which have not got approval from the appropriate authorities, and those violating the sanctioned layout-design and buildings which are in violation of the sanctioned plan would come under the purview of Akrama-Sakrama scheme.
