I got married in january 2013. The marriage was arrange. After one month of marriage i came to know about the fraud regarding age of my wife. Year of birth in biodata was 1989 but actual is 1983. My year of birth is 1988. When i asked my wife about the reason for the fraud..she started misbehaving with me..so i do not even talk her since then n do not hav any kind of relationship..but she is living in my home. Now time to time they (my wife's famiy) are forcing me accept her. When i refuse they threatening me of accusing me of dowry case. She has crossed every limit of misbehaviour even abused me. Dear experts please suggest me how can i get divorce ..she is not ready to give divorce . Please experts suggest me as i m getting depressed.

as deserving case i reply:
gather proof of her mis-behaviour & record video/ audio/ witnesses / doc.
Then file Divorce Petition quickly, as u had not consumed marriage , fraudulent voidable marriage.

Mr.Shroffji - The groom came to know of the age his wife after one month of the marriage - so we can not draw conclusions that marriage is not consumed.
Now he has two options - accept her or file Divorce petition for fradulent misrepresentation of age.

In case Husband file affidavit, he came to know immediately on marriage day, and so did not consume marriage,
it can work till disputed and proved he came to know after a month.
A same school mate attending marriage told, ur wife studied with me have same age of her!!but marriage ceremony was over and it was reception!!
Some Evidence to help this boy.
6 yeras diff/ elder is certainly a CHEATING BY WIFE..
necessary TO PRODUCE Evidence TO PROVE TRUTH.. ALL IS WELL FOR SUCH WAR FOR truth.

Dear experts, sorry for not disclosing my identity and thanks for your support. I am Manish from Barabanki district near lucknow. The only reason behind not disclosing my identity was that may be her family member see my post. Now i have disclosed Coz i need all f your valuable suggestions. One thing i forgot to tell that afterwards i came to know that they said to my mother only that " ek do saal ka difference hoga". My mother's fault is that she havnt told to my father even n not to anybody else. Now her family members are saying.. lie is lie whether it was of one year or six year. Experts as a proof i have taken her signature on his office identity card mentioning her actual age n biodata sent before marriage. They are saying that if this marriage would have been a love marriage then i may not hv be any problem. But both things are totally different. They give senseless comparison of sachin tedulkar and his wife anjali and saying that if u buy sweets from a shop and u find they are rotten u have to accept those sweets..they are arguing with these kinds of senseless points. I know my msg is so long. Sorry.

I too support your idea Mr.Shroffji - if they performed the marriage concealing the age and difference around 6/7 years certainly it is cheating and the boy can file a suit and seek redressal.

Do you have the signed copy of the bio-data of the girl or any other proof in handwriting of the girl, any of her parents or siblings, about the wrong date of birth?

Dear experts i contacted some lawyers regarding this. One thing i want to ask if i file suit for divorce. Can she file case of dowry, etc. Even then against me and if she can file then is there any risk of loosing my govt. Job as I am going to complete the one year of probation period in july last week 2014.?? I am afraid of loosing my job but i want to get myself out of this mesh. Please suggest.
