sir actually i have a query... An incident of fight between two group of students happened in my college..both groups filed fir on each other... I was also named in an fir filed by anti group... But during investigation by police, the officer advised to compromise the matter so both group compromised the matter, so nobody was arrested... And investigating officer wrote in his final report that both the parties were having small disputes and now they have compromised the matter and none of them want any further legal action/fight court case... Then after 2 years a notice was sent to only those two persons r who had filed the fir at the time of fight to appear in" lok adalat" on specific date an tell whether thye want to fight case or not.. Both person gave a written apllication that they dont want to fight case .. Then finally the matter was closed and we have " nakal" of that too. Sir i am now selected in public sector bank... Will there be any problem during police verification?

at the time of filling apllication form it was asked that have you ever been prosecuted/arrested/convicted and i wrote "no".. I was right or not?

Since it was ended even before trial was initiated, you are right in saying so.
malipeddi jaggarao (Expert) 18 April 2014
No problem. You are not prosecuted/arrested/convicted. Only your name appeared in the FIR and police closed the case by compromise. Forget and feel happy. All the best!

You are absolutely right that you need not mention about the case which was not there at all.
