Would need assistance in regards to, whether is it prohibited or not if I marry my second cousin as per Hindu Marriage Act?

You can marry if there is custom to this effect prevalent in your community.

Your marriage is not considerable and against Hindu rites and customs.

Brother sister marriage is not allowed in any part of the world. The same holds good to India. The relationship of brother and sister considered very sacred by Hindus. If you are going ahead under pretext of customs etc as suggested by Venu, you will be commiting self damage whic is irrepairable. Children born out of such a compromise will be mentally chalenged and physically challenged. They will suffer along with them you both will suffer. Choice is yours.
