Section 15 , consumer protection act

The amount deposited under sec 15 (consumer protection Act) for filing the appeal is a statutory fee or can it be released after the disposal of appeal to the appellant.

*This query may be of academic nature, but Section 15 as per my understanding is silent for refund of amount deposited for filing of appeal.

NOT refunded since act is silent. You need to make an application to the court if you want it back.

You have already replied to this query by stating your views which I have already mentioned in the query.

It would have been highly appreciated if it would have been resolved instead of referring it to academic query.
