I had entered into a JV with a promoter to develop my land.After completion of building in 2000 the promoter refused to hand over my share of 2 flats demanding money.I approached the courts and got a favourable judgement in2012. The promoters were ordered to hand over possesion of the said flats and their demand for money was dismissed. Hoever they did not handover the documents. I obtained certified copies of all deeds from the registry offices.
I want to sell the flats but buyers are not getting bank loans against certfied copies. I have two queries,
a) Is there a possibility of getting the original docoments from the promoter? What will be the procedure?
b) Will I be able to sell the flats on the basis of certified copies of deeds?

Try to get the original documents through court.
If the flats are registered in your name you can sell.
Consult local lawyer and show him all the documents.
