If the property is owned by mother then mother can execute will of the property.

I think you are Hindu. Whether the property of the mother is her self acquired or how she acquired? if the mother's property is self acquired then she may execute a Will or gift to any one of her children and others also.

If after your father/testators demise your mother acquired the ancestral property under her husband's. 'registered will it can be treated as self acquired property. She can deal with the property in any manner she likes. So she can gift that property to her favorite son and exclude other sons from inheritance.of that property.
