Mr. Pradeep Mishra,

Being an advocate, is not it yours a strange query? If you are an advocate, how do you believe that you can "proceed with this particular case without having any solid evidence?"

Independent practice cannot be continued by merely visiting various sites. Application of mind is also necessary for advocates.

To be frank, yours is just an academic query, as if from a student. Even if a student, you also have the need to apply your mind, how to proceed in such cases, rather than asking for the uncalled for advice that may be prone to be misused by some unscrupulous elements visiting the site.

If you are an advocate, better ask your friend to collect appropriate evidence, not a difficult task, rather than shooting in the air.

Preferably ask to gather evidence.

Gossip, rumor,hearsay is not evidence.

Collect evidences of blackmailing, record conversation regarding blackmailing and may lodge FIR.
