My relative lady has given statement to the Police for a criminal case. Now the court has issued witness summon to her. The Accused in the criminal case has not disputed the statement recorded by the Police. Whether the court can adopt the same without pressing for her personal appearance if the Accused doesn't object the statement recorded by the Police?

The witness shall have to be present in court to give her evidence, If she fails to do so the court may issue warrant of arrest for her production for the same.

If the witness summon received by the witness and chooses not to appear before the court for deposing evidence, the court may issue witness warrant, hence do not run a risk.
