1 My mother expired a year back. She has kept me as only nominee in postoffice depoists , which is registered in books of records.
2TThere is claim form issued by post office , in that there is a coloumn which demands two witness to be signed
3 Can my brothers/ wife sign as witness , postmaster refuse to accept my family member as witness.please request guidance

You may get two independent witnesses, from your friends and neighbors knowing you and your mother can file this position of witnesses.

they will certainly seek for some independent witness as it would be in compliance with the rules and regulations. you may request any of your friends or neighbours to help you out on this issue.

Post Master can accept your family members as witness, however, if he is not satisfied arrange for independent witness.

There seems to be no mention of witnesses.
However the need may be to identify the claimant/nominee.

Pursue and Sub/postmaster may agree to accept your family members as witness.
