Withdrwal of case in civil court case filled against state pollution department

Sir,
kindly give me advice on following issue
1- Whether it is possible to withdraw case before date ?

2- Can i it self file a request letter to civil court for withdrawn of the said case .

3- if the answer of question 2 is no so how can i change my lawyer?

One can withdraw the suit at any point of time under Order 23 Rule 1 cpc.

Agree with expert, you can apply yourself. However, it would be better and advisable to proceed through your lawyer, in your own interest.

Why to change the lawyer for withdrawal. You can ask your present lawyer to do so. If you wish to represent on your own, or change the lawyer, you should obtain NOC from the present lawyer. This is necessary as the court will verify whether the lawyer has received his professional fee as agreed upon. Hence, at this stage, you can not overlook your present lawyer even to withdraw your case.

You can get it done even without changing your lawyer.

You can withdraw the suit by filing a petition under the provisions of order XXIII Rule 1 of CPC, you don't need your advocate's help to file this petition.
