Wife harrassing

my client's wife is living with her parents because of differences with my client's
and his parents. My client is giving sizable amounts for her maintenance. she is now demanding 50% of my client's salary for her expenses. But my client is not ready to give any money to his wife as she has left his house without any valid reason How to proceed legally and to safeguard my client.

the aforesaid amount has order by court or own willingness of your client, no need to give unless otherwise court order, and if your client want live with her, immediately file RCR case.

You can sent a legal notice, to the wife, stating the amount, which the client is afford to pay as maintenance.

your client should stop payment immediately, if it is not being paid on court orders.

Let her manage court orders.

No point in giving his half salary unless that is enough to buy rapprochement between the parties.
The wife is entitled to much less than that.
