Weather mutually physical relation is amount to rape

Dear Experts,
i am married and working as senior level officer in MNC before five month i had physical relation with my female assistant mutually. however i never lied and promised to marry her. but now she is threatening me to leave my wife and marry with her. she admit that if i don't marry her she will file the case of rape against me as first promised for marry only to be physical with her and later denied for marry. since i never promised to marry her it all was verbally hence i have not any concrete evidence for the same that i had promised to marry her or she is lie. pls clarify in this case can she file the rape case against me if so how to get out of this problem any remedies?

In your Marriage Ceremony the Purohit would have Chanted the Mantra and First Try to understand the Meaning of it.You had betrayed your wife and had an Illicit and Illegal affair.Now fall at that Lady's Feet and Try to get rid of her.Any Legal steps would land you in Soup and Sin no More.

If she proceeds further then do you have any irrefutable evidence to claim that it was NOT rape..............and as you claim with mutual consent.

Assuming that you have, in that case, can you bear the bad publicity, insult, stigma etc?

More-so, would your employer accept it?

Try your level best and make up with the woman, if you can.

Legal view:
The girl was knowing that you are married.. hence, she has no right to say that you have cheated her.
She has no authority to compel you to leave your wife and marry her.
Avoid any extramarital physical relations.
What are the evidences she has with her?
And YES.. your wife can certainly file a case against you. And that is the serious threat for you.
In case of worst situation.. keep your defense ready.. consult a smart lawyer.
