Hi all,
I completed LL.B.Now i am preparing for judicial service examinations.My dream is to become High Court Judge.Now i want to pursue LL.M(Distance).Please advice me which of the following specializations advantages me more to become High Court Judge.
(1)LL.M(Constitutional&Adminitrative law)
(2)LL.M(Corporate law)
(3)LL.M(Labour law)
(4)LL.M(Torts&Crimes)

To become High Court judge, passing of LL.B is enough.

Concentrate on the judicial examinations conducted for Higher Judiciary leaving aside other programmes for that LL.B. degree is adequate.
Check it from previous papers/ examinations, what is being questioned for passing HJ exams.

Dear Ganesh,
Please note the following:
1. If you sit up for Higher Judicial Services examination, you will become Additional District Judge. You have to work hard and earn a name for your work and come to be known for your judicial acumen. Only then you will be considered for elevation as High Court judge. (It is a long way to go).
2. If you practice before the High Court as a lawyer and show your mettle, and if your work come to be noticed by the High Court, then the High Court will consider and recommend your name for appointment as a Judge. (Again a long way to go).
Therefore, please concentrate on your judicial service examination.
As for as LLM is concerned, you can go in for Constitutional& Administrative law.
