Unauthorized photography

(Querist) 31 July 2014 This query is : Resolved
I have an old model car and it looks quite attractive when parked. A few antisocial elements around my area have been photographing the car from various angles using mobile phone. I suspect it may be for some robbery plan. If I see some one photographing my car can I hold him and take him to the police ?

It appears that your case has any historical interest whose photograph is prohibited.

The bunglows, cars of film stars are photographs everyday in hundreds of number. I wonder when they mange time to take the photographers to the Police.

This is your fifth query in a single day and I believe you have nothing to do except to post bogus queries in this site.

Without concrete proofs of theft planning it is not advisable to approach police.

You appears to be smart guy capable of posing several queries - most of which are obviously imaginary - and a such one wonders as to why you need a nod from experts of this forum if you really wants to file FIR ? You may go ahead and post the outcome also.

If your old model car looks quite attractive when parked people might be equating that with Miss India, Miss world or Miss Universe and would be taking pains to keep that on their record by taking its photograph from various angles. Let them do so. Your car is getting famous.

By the way, have you written any where on th epark, "taking photograph of the car is prohibited" or are they taking photographs by entering in to your private premises, which you are treating as unauthorised?

Also, you have posted your query under the caption "criminal law, what type of crime you think they are committing while taking photograph?
