Trade mark assignment

Is it necessary to register the assignment deed of trade mark. if yes what stamp duty it will attract? Can we have one assignment deed for more than one trade mark?

If it is a registered trademark it is necessary to file Form TM 23 or TM 24 with he trademark registry to epnable the agginee to enter his name as the owner of the trademark .The assignment should be executed as an assignment deed in a stamped paper whose value depends on the place where it is executed.more than one trademark can beincluded in an assignment deed.
