Thumb impression

I want to know that can it is possible to justify/ recognised a thumb impression on any docs that it is a right hand thumb or left hand thumb.

1. If possible then how ( pls if possible write the refrence of books).

2. If not possible then how ( pls if possible write the refrence of books).

It is an academic query. however, the answer is No. it is not possible. But in registration of documents or in courts (if necessary), then they will take left hand thumb impression. for any reason the left thumb impression is not possible, then left forefinger like that left side will be taken. for only PH (left hand only) persons, right hand thumb impression is permissible.
