Dear Team. How much time a nationalised bank employee can be suspended. If he/she not received any information except a show cause within 6 months than what should be do. Kindly guide as per.

It is specified in the.rules of disciplinary actions,and if not.adhered, the full salary is to be.payable after six months which is termed as subsistence allowances with normal increments applicable.

Suspension of a government employee can be revoked/ extended within 180 days, which may not be applicable in your case.
It is better to consult a local prudent lawyer practicing service matters with relevant documents/facts for appreciation, guidance and proceeding.

Normaly banks follow CCS(CC&A) rules while framing CDA Rules.

A suspension may be void (unless contrary specified in CDA Rules of the bank) if not reviewed within 3 months. However there is no upper limit to keep on extending.

Earlier it was not mandatory to review suspension period it continued til revoked.

Please check if the same provision continues in Bank's CDA Rules.
