In a nutshell, all I can say is that unless those "3 members" have not done anything positive to abet the suicide of your friend, there is nothing to worry.

Sir,

Attempt to suicide is also an offence, so first your friend will be punished for that, and for the three members he will have prove the circumstances under which he can prove their role in harassing.

Warm Regards

@ Kapil! As per sense of query, his friend has succeeded in committing suicide so he cannot be punished by any court of law of this land.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 27 September 2016
If during investigation, police finds the accused as guilty then shall produce them before the trial court and further proceeding shall follow. Such cases may take 2-3 years in disposal and the job of astrologer is not associated with the experts hence no comment about punishment, if any.

They can be arrested. Should discuss in detail with local lawyer. May try for anticipatory bail.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 27 September 2016
The deceased was your friend so your interest might be that the culprits do not get their bail.

What do you say?
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 28 September 2016
If you are interested that they may not be released on bail, oppose their bail application.

The author seems confused for the reasons best known to him.
