Ssaha finlease wrongly posted in cibil

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 19 August 2018 This query is : Resolved
I had a credit Card with Standard Chartered Bank . In 29th Jan 2010 ,I paid Rs 24,000.00 as full and final payment through cash in Standard Chartered Bank ,19 N S Road Branch, Kolkata 700001 and got the money receipt of the same.Along with that I have received NDC from Standard Chartered Bank, as I don’t have any dues with this account.
Recently I was rejected by one bank for my loan request due to negative report from CIBIL .Going through my CIBIL report, I came to know status against my account 171272191603080 (which actually was for SCB Credit Card) of SSAHA shows Written-off, and showing zero outstanding, also they mentioned written off amount Rs 16316, which is also wrong, as no outstanding amount was there.
Request help for the rectification of my CIBIL record.

You can take up the issue with CIBIL.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 21 August 2018
In your case the bank has compromised and written off the outstanding amount, accordingly there is no infirmity with CIBIL rating.
However, discuss with the lender Bank.
